Google AdSense is a keyword oriented program which, in other words, means that you cannot put a specific ad on your web site, Google will do it automatically based on what your web site contains. Here is the trick, some of keywords are very profitable, some are not as profitable as others, so before choosing the content you will post on your new website, please check the list of the most profitable keywords for 2010. Also make sure that you will be able to, in the future, be able to update your website and make it more interesting with topics on your content so pick something you will be able to handle.

So what does it mean in comparison:
In comparison is basically if you have a furniture related website with daily unique traffic of 7000 people and mortgage related website with 200 daily unique people, this two web sites will earn you about the same $10-$15 a day. Furniture related ads will bring you about 0.3 cents per click and mortgage related ads will bring you about 1-5 dollars per click. Again, it is very important to choose the right content for your site if you want to make good money with Adsense.
Say you already have furniture website with nice traffic on it? Use that traffic that you already have! Add a couple of links from your existing website to the content related with high paying keywords such as mortgage related 
keywords. In that case, Adsense will split the amount of furniture related ads with mortgage related ads to be shown on your site. With this sample trick, you will increase your earning amount by at least twice!

2)Choose .com (not .net or other), search engines love .com names and remember, you want be able to change the domain name in future, you choose it - you stay with it.
3)Do not use "free website services". You are going to waste your time. Search engine will not take you seriously so do the thing right from the very beginning.

For example to create 10-20 pages website you will spend about $50.00.
SEO - Search Engine Optimization
Last and most important step to make money on internet with Adsense or any other money making programs is to get targeted traffic to your site. You can get this traffic from You tube for example, from large free directories of submission, articles sites (if you good in writing an articles) but main thing, and i want you to focus on that, is search engines such as Google, Yahoo... With nearly 14 billion online searches every month and social media sites that rival populations of large countries, there's unlimited opportunity. But to take advantage of that opportunity, it is vital to rank high in the search engines. Be patient, Google is not going to rank you high in few days, depends of the keyword you have from 2.000.000 to 350.000.000 competitors who wants to do the same. But do not get scared. In reality it is usually about 100 web sites who do work on the project...
So to get a good ranking on any search engines you have to:
1)Create the website with new, fresh, interesting contains. Do not copy someones work! Search engines will find that and bun you with DUPLICATED CONTAINS reason. Update your contains as often as possible.
2)DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR SITE TO THE SEARCH ENGINES, YES I MEAN DO NOT! The best way for your site to be picked up by search engine crawler is to be picked up from some other good ranked site.
